Me and My Panic
I suffered with many forms of anxiety and panic disorder for years - right back to when I was 7 or 8 years old. I didn’t know what it was back then, but looking back it’s now pretty clear. It got worse as I got older, and during that time I tried everything to overcome it: psychiatrists, doctors, medication, books, relaxation techniques.
None of them did me any good at all.
A couple of years ago I hit rock bottom. I had a 2 week period where I had 10 or 15 panic attacks a day - huge ones. I went 10 days without sleep. I couldn’t eat. I was in danger of becoming seriously ill. And it was that two week period that led to me making the decision to start looking for my own ways to overcome my problems with panic and anxiety.
That’s how it all began for me. That’s why this page you’re reading right now exists. I’m very relieved to be able to say that I’ve now been panic-free for almost 18 months.
Why The Website?
As I said, I’ve now been free of my problems with panic and anxiety for a year and a half, and that’s because I started to discover and create effective ways of dealing with the problems I was having.
When I realised how effective these discoveries were, I decided to start sharing them with others facing the same problems. I did this through friends I’d made on online forums, and with people I knew in person.
When my ideas starting working for these people, just as they had with me, I decided to take it a step further and create “Beat Panic Today,” a crash course in some of the ideas I’d been using to beat my problems with panic.
Thousands of people came to my original website, and so many of them found the ideas in the crash course to be helpful.
If you haven’t already gone through the course, you can do so by entering your name and email address into the form on the right side of this page.
I’ve now taken another step forward by creating this website.
